I am happy to have pupils of all ages and abilities, as I firmly believe the piano is accessible to everyone.
Although I believe in examinations as a measure of progress and a means of motivation, there will be no pressure to be tested. I want my pupils to enjoy their learning experiences with me. Laughter is a key part of my lessons!
The syllabus of Trinity College London would be my preferred one, although I also have pupils studying for London College of Music exams.
I teach in Portadown College one day a week, and private lessons are held in my own home. I teach Monday to Saturday.
I have a Bechstein upright piano. While COVID restrictions are in place and sanitising is recommended pupils will play on a Kawai digital piano in their lessons.
