I originally hail from Bessbrook in Co. Armagh.  I studied at the Royal School, Armagh then obtained a music degree from Queen's University Belfast.

In 1998 I moved to London. where I spent two years as a postgraduate studying French horn performance at Trinity College of Music.

A student job led me on to a career as Concert Library Manager at Josef Weinberger Ltd (now Music Theatre International Europe) and I stayed there for nearly seventeen years, supplying music on hire to professional and amateur orchestras, broadcasters, dramatic societies and schools throughout the world.

In August 2017 I moved to Portadown.

As well as piano tuition I can offer music theory training, aural training and piano accompaniment.

I am an experienced orchestral musician, having been principal horn of the London International Orchestra for sixteen years,  I am a former principal horn of both the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and the Ulster Youth Orchestra.

I am also a church organist, available for weddings and funerals.
